Sarah Feinmann

Sarah Feinmann is a visual artist based in Manchester, who is inspired by the overlooked and the unappreciated aspects of the world around her. She investigates places, surfaces and artefacts that expose their materiality, revealing their history. She uses photography to capture the textures and colour of these edgeland spaces drawing attention to the colour, surfaces and distinctive qualities of these places. Through arrangement, construction, dismantling and remaking she continues to work until she achieves the desired effect and her painted collages emerge.
