Through Arts Council funding Pod Collective has provided art and creative workshops at refugee and asylum seeker centres in Greater Manchester, creating comprehensive projects with people that is either exhibited or archived, giving refugees and asylum seekers an increased presence in Manchester. Pod Collective aim to develop skills through art, including confidence, language and social skills and create a safe space for people to come and attend workshops.
Pod Collective is still going strong and has successfully created bodies of work over several years for Refugee Week, celebrating refugees and asylum seekers in Manchester.
