Evita Ziemele is a Latvian artist based in Manchester, UK. She graduated with First Class Honours from Salford University in 2022 and has since exhibited her works across Greater Manchester and Tokyo. With her own unsettling visual language developed through wearable sculpture made from tights that distort the body, she creates conversations on body dysmorphia & female trauma. Her imagery references myths and old 'male masters' work but subverts the stories to create space for the female narrative to be told.
