{"id":653,"date":"2016-09-28T10:38:40","date_gmt":"2016-09-28T09:38:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rastudios.co.uk\/?p=653"},"modified":"2017-10-02T19:48:24","modified_gmt":"2017-10-02T18:48:24","slug":"save-the-date-rogue-open-studios-14-16th-october-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rastudios.co.uk\/2016\/09\/save-the-date-rogue-open-studios-14-16th-october-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"21st Anniversary Rogue Open Studios"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Public Preview:<\/strong> Friday 14th October, 6-9pm<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Open:<\/strong> Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th October, 12-5pm \/ FREE<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rogue Artists&#8217; Studios,\u00a066-72 Chapeltown Street,\u00a0Manchester,\u00a0M1 2WH [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Rogue+Artists+Studios\/@53.478613,-2.226168,16z\/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0xd6509e7044a61115!8m2!3d53.4786126!4d-2.2261684?hl=en-US\">map<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rogue Artists\u2019 Studios is celebrating its 21st anniversary with what will be its last Open Studios at Crusader Mill.\u00a0 A highlight of Manchester\u2019s art calendar, the annual weekend-long event offers members of the public, curators and collectors the opportunity to meet some of Manchester\u2019s most exciting emerging and established artists.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Currently home to 90+ contemporary artists Rogue is the largest artists\u2019 studio community in the UK outside of London.\u00a0 But as Rogue announce a series of projects to mark its 21st anniversary, the artist members are still to secure a new home ahead of December when their lease ends.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Spanning all forms of visual art from painting, sculpture, photography, installation, performance and more, visitors are welcomed to the two-day event when the artists\u2019 throw open their doors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, Rogue Project Space will present\u00a0<strong><em>Excuse Me While I Am Changing<\/em><\/strong>, an exhibition of new works by artists Matthew Bamber, Linda Hemmersbach, Hannah Leighton-Boyce, and Michelle Shields.
