Named after Manchester artist and Rogue benefactor Kate\nDavies, the cottage is intended as a resource for grass roots arts\norganisations in the north west, providing overnight accommodation for artists\nand performers visiting or working in the region. Originally in use by the\ncaretaker at the former Varna Street school, the cottage is a three bedroom\nhouse sleeping up to 4 people and integrated into the Rogue Artists\u2019 Studios\nsite in Higher Openshaw, east Manchester. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u2018Caretaker\u2019s Cottage\u2019 will enable Manchester based creatives to participate in exchange schemes with artist-led organisations throughout the UK and abroad. Rogue is also delighted to be working with partner organisations to facilitate opportunities for artists from further afield to work for extended periods in Manchester, and to contribute to the city\u2019s diverse and flourishing cultural offer.
